The film's shoot began on 7 September 2014 and was wrapped up by December 2014.The film was
initially slated to release on May 1, 2015 but it was held back for almost six months by the Censor Board owing to its sexual content.On 13 August 2015, the Central Board of Film Certification finally granted the censor certificate to the film.The film was slated to be initially released on 5 December 2015, but to avoid opening at the same time as Hate Story 3, the date was pushed ahead to January 2016.
